Is working for LEICA possible? Is it always going to remain a dream?

Hi welcome back to Derrick and Conversations, Today i have a very interesting post, i will take you all one step closer to The Best Lens Company in the World "Leica". Leica dont only produce lens for camera, in Germany, Leica produce Microscopic lens, even lens for Weapons. This Company produce the best lenses in the market, the lenses are more expensive than usual. It was always my dream, maybe always will be my dream to own a Leica Camera. Leica is comes from Wetzlar, Germany this is where i am currently living right now. It is really amazing to see This your dream company everyday when you walk out the door.

What is the unique part of Leica? What does Leica have that other Camera companies dont have? The unique part of Leica is its design, Believe it or not, the M-Series Leica Camera design havent change for 60 years, that mean if you buy a camera 60 year ago it will look almost the same if you buy it now, and all the lenses are the same design from 60 years ago. Another unique part of Leica is its Quality, my father's friend's father bought a Leica M-3, 60 years ago in Germany, now it is 60 years old, the camera is still in one piece, it is still usable, i test it with my own darn eyes, i was so impressed, i would write a post about it soon.

I haved dreamed my whole life working for Leica, but now it is no longer a "Dream". Last week there was a Education fare in my school, guess what Leica showed up, they offered jobs. In January I must do a project, for 2 weeks, i have to work for a company, after that, I must write a report about what I have learned in this 2 weeks, it is called the practical job. I went up to Leica, told them about what i have to do in January, they gave me a form to fill in. So this 2 weeks I will be working in Leica. I also ask about my future, whether i stand a chance to work for Leica. They said i have a very big advantage, because I can speak 3 different languages, German, English and Chinese. There are more requirements for the job, I must be good in physics, and I must go to college. I would work my ass off to succeed, this is my dream, i will not give up, it is a really good chance!!

Leica Released some new Cameras this September, i really hope that it will impress you all, Enjoy the videos, Sorry they dont speak very good English because they are Germans.

The time has come!! Obama United Nation Assembly

Yesterday Obama gave his first Speech in the United Nations in New York City, I found it very interesting, I would like to share it. After listening and studying Obama's speeches for a few months, I have never been so sure before, that President Obama is not here to fool around, he is a real president, he is doing something, I have faith in him, and I believe that he will change America and Americans as it is now and as it will be in the future.

"We can be remember as the Generation that chooses to drag the problems and arguments from the 20 century to the 21 century, refuse to look ahead, because we define ourselves as what were against, instead of what we are for. OR we can be a Generation that chooses to see the shore lines beyond the rough water ahead us." Quoted from: President Barack Obama

Back to buisness

Back to buisness, Man I think my blog is really stacked with dust, time to clean up,i had abandon my blog for over 3 months, Well i really need to aplogize for doing this, my life have never been worse, I am having a very harsh, and hard time right now, because i have to catch up in my German. Imagine going to German school without knowing any german at all, and in a short 2 years, i will come face to face with the most important test in my life, (IN German) how can i possibly catch up with people that had problably spoke german from the minuite they could speak. It is not impossible, I will achive this !!!! Enough of bullshit, now back to buisness, I have been out of this blogging buisness for such a while now i realy hope that i havent lose any of my blogging skills, I will try my best to write more interesting articles to impress my readers. In the end i want to thank skychin for incouraging me to continue to update my blog, thanks dude!!!!

Well this post is about my a trip to Berlin, the capital of Germany. Well Berlin is one of the biggest cities i ever been to, so I decided to devide it into 2 posts, it will make it easier to interpret. Well enjoy!

As i said, or maybe i dont need to, in Germany you will see a lot of famous sports cars, like BMW, Porche, Audi, I see these cars for everyday, to be honest with you, i am kinda fed up, but when I arrived Berlin i saw a ferrari, that really impressed me, in the future i would definately want to drive this cars on my first date with Miss America, HAHAHa, just kidding, i dont think I have the ability to win Miss America's heart, maybe Miss Malaysia!!!!

Well i asume that you all paid attention in history class in Form3, if you did you will know that Germany is the country that started WW1 and WW2, the Americans and Russian, bomed Germany a lot, as you can see in the picture above, it is a church that has been bomed, now it is still be used, they repaired it, in Germany all historical artefects are protected by the German law, you can not simply change the look of a building, so they did not completely rebuild this church.

Guess what that is, well it is the Berlin wall, if you look closly, you can see a lot of Buble gum on the wall, it could give you a good idea of how much ppl hate this wall, if you want to know more about this wall and the history behind it, you would be happy to search www.wikipedia.com, you would find the story behind this enormouse wall very interesting.

The only remaining of the berlin wall, these wall devided Germany into 4 parts, now it remains here forever, to tell the world Germany had became a country again!!!

Check point charley, behind me it is the chack point, land behind the check point belongs to the americans, land in front of the check point belongs to the russians, by the way this picture cost me 1euro!!!!!!

My dear class teacher, Herr horman, he is a cool dude, but sometimes he looks so cool ,which i think it really funny.

This is the top of the German parlimen building, "Bundestag"

As you can see, there are a lot of mirrors, this whole thing is made out of more than 3oo mirrors, the point of these mirrors is to bring sun light into thte building, look at the next picture then you will understand what i am talking about.

This is what it looks like, you dont need any lights in the building because the mirrors are all 30 degres so it reflects light into the building, it is so damn unique.

The Brandenburger tor, the most important building in Germany.Brandenburg Gate (German: Brandenburger Tor) is a former city gate and one of the main symbols of Berlin and Germany. It is located west of the city center at the intersection of Unter den Linden and Ebertstraße, immediately west of the Pariser Platz. It is the only remaining gate of a series through which one formerly entered Berlin. One block to the north stands theReichstag. The gate is the monumental entry to Unter den Linden, the renowned boulevard oflinden trees which formerly led directly to the city palace of the Prussian monarchs. It was commissioned by King Frederick William II of Prussia as a sign of peace and built by Karl Gotthard Langhans from 1788 to 1791. The Brandenburg Gate was restored from 2000 to 2002 by the Stiftung Denkmalschutz Berlin (Berlin Monument Conservation Foundation). Today, it is considered one of Europe's most famous landmar......From www.wikipedie.com

Skychin's birthday

Today is a day that i will always remember, it is my buddy skychin's birthday, even though I just know him for 1 year, but this year changed my whole life. Skychin is helped me the most, because of him, I knew more about the ICT world, because of him, i turned into someone that is useful, not like before. Before I was a useless son of the B****, but after making friends with sky, there is something I learned:"Professionals were also once retards, but if someone has a dream 梦想, everything will change." The most important thing in life is to have a dream, and move towards your dream, this is what sky taught me, a lot of people may think he is a jerk, but he isn't, he is smarter than he looks. Today is his birthday, unfortunately I am in Germany, I don't have a chance to celebrate with him. Today I would like to share to all my readers The memory of me and my best buddy sky.

Click one these links to know more about me and skychin.

In the end, I would like to wish skychin a happy birthday." skychin you are 16 now, not young anymore, I know that in the future you will be a very good journalist, for magazines that are for sale through out the world. Have a dream, do not give up, till then my friend. Have a nice birthday.

Your friend
